Job summary

TechMet Ltd. is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a global, multi-functional team in NI. You will define system and product roadmaps, manage business cases, and drive cost roadmaps aligned with strategic priorities for a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in PM, strong Agile experience, and a background in hardware, software, and system development within automotive or related tech fields. Some cyber security insight is desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Project or Programme Management.
• Experience in Agile development.
• Experience leading hardware, software and system development projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-functional global team to define system and product roadmaps in line with customer and business priorities.
• Define and lead the business case for new opportunities.
• Define and implement a product cost roadmap aligned with company priorities.
• Drive Change Management projects in line with customer and company requirements.
• Manage customer-facing project management activities.
• Oversee new technology developments relevant to the heavy vehicle industry.

We continue to work with one of the leading manufacturing firms in NI as they seek to expand their global Engineering and Programme Management teams and as a consequence are sourcing an experienced Program Manager.

The Role:

• Lead a multi-functional global team in defining a system and product roadmap, in line with customer and business priorities
• Lead all aspects in defining a business case for new opportunities
• Ability to define & implement product cost roadmap in line with the company’s priorities
• Lead specific Change Management projects in line with customer and company requirements
• Customer facing project management
• Managing new technology developments – in line with how the heavy vehicle industry is changing

The Person:

• At least 3+ years’ experience in Project and/or Programme Management
• Experience in working in an Agile development environment
• Experience leading Hardware, software and system development projects
• It would be desirable that you have a background in an Automotive or fast paced technology development environment
• It would be desirable that you have prior knowledge of Cyber Security and Functional Safety requirements for the Automotive industry
