Bridgemark, Inc., a well-established nonprofit behavioral health organization, is seeking a mission-driven and experienced Residential Program Manager to oversee operations at our 35-bed mens residential substance use treatment program. This full-time leadership position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, team-oriented, and client-centered environment and who is deeply committed to supporting recovery and behavioral health care.

About the Role:
The Residential Program Manager is responsible for the daily oversight of the residential facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, adherence to regulatory standards, and the development of a cohesive and professional staff team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Program Manager plays a critical role in maintaining a respectful, safe, and recovery-focused community.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day residential operations, supervising Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), counselors, and support staff, and working in close partnership with the Clinical Supervisor to align clinical goals with operational needs. The Program Manager is also responsible for developing staff schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage, monitoring census and reimbursement trends, and ensuring the facility remains in compliance with licensing, accreditation, and agency policies.

This position supports client admissions and discharges, promotes cleanliness and emergency preparedness, leads regular team meetings and trainings, and fosters staff retention and engagement through clear communication and strong leadership. The Program Manager must also model and uphold a workplace culture rooted in professionalism, inclusivity, mutual respect, and accountability.

Required Qualifications:
A masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is . Candidates with a bachelors degree and substantial experience in program leadership, supervision, or residential behavioral health will also be considered. A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required, including at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role within a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and regulatory compliance. The ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and take direction from executive leadership is essential. The candidate must bring emotional maturity, professionalism, and the ability to remain objective and respectful in all interactionsregardless of personal dynamics.

Licensure (not required but highly valued):


  • LCDP, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or other licensed behavioral health credentials.
