MENTOR is recruiting an experienced Programme Manager to oversee a large-scale disease control and healthcare programme in the Middle East, working with established teams in-country and at HQ level. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Middle East, a background in public health, medicine, or epidemiology, be fluent in Arabic, and possess strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills.

Requirements for the role:

  • Background in public health or a related field. Postgraduate qualification in health/medicine, epidemiology, or infectious disease control is highly desirable. Experience working in the Middle East and understanding of the regional context is preferable.
  • Extensive experience managing health/humanitarian programmes and working with donors.
  • Familiarity with NGO working environments and standard procedures.
  • Highly organized with good coordination and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with sensitive and non-discriminatory behaviour and attitudes.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is preferable.
