Job summary

JBAF Consulting in London is seeking an experienced Consultant Programme Manager to lead three connected workstreams for a healthcare client, ensuring governance, reporting and assurance across the portfolio.

You will keep delivery on track and help the client meet 2026/27 national reporting commitments, taking ownership from day one and earning confidence across clinical, operational and partner colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across the three workstreams, track priority projects from Q1 2026/27, scope new projects and agree corrective action where deliveries slip.
• Embed PMO governance, run bi-monthly Programme Delivery Group meetings and ensure every project has a PID with clear KPIs and a closure report.
• Own the monthly dashboard and risk register, and work with analysts to interpret data that informs decisions.
• Represent the programme at local authority public health meetings and regional screening boards, and build strong relationships with primary care networks and GP practices.
• Deputise for the Programme Lead, coach project managers, and complete a structured mobilisation and handover.

Reporting to the Programme Lead, you will will governance, reporting and assurance across the portfolio, keep delivery on track and make sure the client meets its [2026/27] national reporting commitments. This is a senior role for someone who can take ownership straight away and quickly earn the confidence of clinical, operational and partner colleagues.
