Program Director

Location: Remote working available for the right candidate.

Our client is a global consortium that enables the achievement of business objectives through technology standards and open source initiatives by fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect among their diverse group of 900+ memberships. Their membership includes customers, systems and solutions suppliers, tool vendors, integrators, academics, and consultants across multiple industries.

The Role

The company is developing an Open Source, standards based, technology agnostic data platform that stimulates innovation, industrializes data management, and reduces time to market for new solutions.

They are seeking an experienced Forum Director who will have principal responsibility to ensure the forum adheres to the operating rules of the company.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain member participation and engagement by facilitating collaboration and achieving consensus to create standards, best practices, and certification programs.

* Building, managing and retaining stellar communication channels between Forum elected leadership and the company staff.

* Supporting the Forum and its ecosystem with strategic and tactical support for the successful execution of all Forum objectives.

* Maximize market adoption of resulting standards, best practices and certification programs.

Skills and Qualifications

* Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

* Experience in meeting organization and facilitation, including virtual events

* Experience in International Teamwork and use of virtual communication tools

* Program/Product Management skills

* Proficiency in collaboration and project management tools

* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

* Confident to work remotely
