Overview

Job DescriptionAbout Us: We are a compassionate and dedicated provider of residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to foster independence, growth, and quality of life for those we serve by creating a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Program Director to join our team on a part-time basis to oversee and manage our residential services program.

Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Plan, implement, and evaluate the residential program to ensure quality service delivery that meets regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure program compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to developmental services.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Recruit, train, and supervise residential staff. Provide ongoing support, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
  • Individual Support Planning: Oversee the creation and implementation of individual support plans, working closely with , families, and support teams to address each ’s unique needs and goals.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Assist in managing the program budget, resources, and scheduling to ensure efficient operations and optimal use of available funds.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain positive relationships with , families, advocates, and external partners to promote collaboration and communication.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Provide guidance in crisis situations, ensuring staff are well-prepared to manage and de-escalate challenges as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (Master’s degree ).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in developmental services, residential care, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing residential programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Proven leadership experience, with skills in staff supervision, program management, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Working Hours

This is a part-time role with flexible hours. Availability to work some evenings and weekends may be required.
