Job summary

Quadram Institute Bioscience seeks a part-time Project Coordinator to support the Food Safety Research Network (FSRN) and AMAST. The role is 0.5–0.8 FTE for 18 months, based at QIB, Norwich, with potential extension. You will coordinate workshops, manage calls for collaborative projects and draft reports for funders.

Applicants should have a biological/food science degree (or equivalent) and strong organisational skills, with ability to work across networks and travel within the UK as required.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in a biological/food discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience coordinating projects or events involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate strategic planning and delivery of workshops, meetings and events.
  • Lead on the coordination of competitive calls for collaborative projects.
  • Draft clear reports of delivered workshops and meetings; prepare case studies.
  • Represent QIB at partner conferences and events; travel within the UK as needed.
  • Monitor progress, expenditure and outputs against plans; support funders reporting.
