Job Description:

The group invites applications for a faculty position in Marketing at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). We welcome candidates from all areas of marketing research, including empirical modelling, analytical modelling, consumer behaviour, and strategy.

This is an open rank position, and we encourage applications from both early-career scholars and experienced faculty.

Located in the heart of London, Imperial Business School offers an attractive research environment, competitive salaries, and an interdisciplinary marketing group with a strong track record of publishing in top-tier journals such as Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Quantitative Marketing and Economics, and Journal of Marketing.

Early-career candidates should demonstrate exceptional potential and passion for research, evidenced by a strong job market paper and a promising research pipeline. Candidates at more advanced stages (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professors) are expected to have an established record of impactful research and publications in leading journals. Full Professors will also be expected to take on key service and leadership responsibilities within the School.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • A PhD in marketing or related field (completed by the start of the appointment).
  • A developing or established national/international reputation and expertise in marketing (appropriate to career stage).
  • A strong job market paper.
  • A promising research pipeline.
  • Ability to teach marketing courses.
  • Experience training undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Experience supervising higher degrees (PhD).
