Durham University's Department of Engineering seeks a Professor in Electrical Engineering to drive excellence in teaching and research. Candidates should be recognized for their contributions to the field and ideally hold Chartered Engineer status. The Department of Engineering at Durham University is currently undergoing a period of strategic growth and now seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Professor in Electrical Engineering.
We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests in the broad field of electrical engineering, power electronics, machines, and drives. We are particularly eager to hear from candidates with a focus on the application of electrical engineering in renewable energy, space, aerospace, power distribution, and the reliability of novel electrical machines. The successful candidate will also be involved in research-led teaching in engineering.
