What's the job?

We are seeking an experienced and driven Professional Services Manager to lead and grow our Professional Services team in a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This role is directly responsible for overseeing solution architects, delivery engineers, and technical consultants working across networks, end-points, cloud platforms, infrastructure, and service architecture.

You will ensure the successful delivery of IT projects and solutions to our clients with a relentless focus on service excellence, billable performance, and operational effectiveness. As a senior leader in the business, you will also play a critical role in scaling delivery capabilities, refining delivery methodologies, and supporting strategic growth.

This role is offered on a permanent, full time basis based in our Hitchin offices. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will also assist with our Duty Incident Management Process.

What experience are we looking for?

  • Experience in a Professional Services leadership role within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Managing technical teams across a range of services such as Networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls), Endpoint management, Microsoft 365 and Azure, Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Backup and disaster recovery & Infrastructure design and migrations
  • Track record of delivering complex IT projects to enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Deep understanding of professional services KPIs including billable utilization, project margin, and delivery efficiency.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification (Nice to have - not a deal-breaker)
  • Experience with PSA tools such as HaloPSA, ConnectWise, Autotask, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 frameworks in delivery environments
