Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment are seeking a Senior Professional Services Manager based in Leicester with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home). The role reports to the Head of Professional Services and focuses on IR35, Off-Payroll Working, employment status, and personal tax, providing technical oversight and client guidance.

You will review consultants' work, handle HMRC enquiries, mentor Tax Consultants and help develop proposals.

Qualifications

Professional Services Manager

Permanent role based in Leicester, with 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH, reporting to the Head of Professional Services.

The role is a senior technical position focused on IR35, Off-Payroll Working, employment status, employment tax and personal tax. The person will provide technical oversight, review consultants' work, handle complex client queries and support HMRC enquiries, disclosures and settlements.

Ideal candidate

Someone with strong experience in UK employment tax and IR35, ideally from a tax, consultancy, legal or professional services background.

Must have:

• ATT qualification or significant relevant experience.
• IR35 / Off-Payroll / employment status experience.
• Strong PAYE, NIC, CIS and personal tax knowledge.
• Experience dealing with HMRC enquiries and settlements.
• Strong technical review and advisory skills.
• Experience mentoring or coaching others.
• Good client-facing and communication skills.
