Job Description:

The Role

We are looking for an experienced financial markets professional to join our Professional Services team and take a key role in new business development from a finance SME perspective. This position will allow you to develop a deep understanding of TradingHub’s model-based approach to market abuse surveillance and apply your knowledge of capital markets to drive new revenue generation.

You will have had a previous role in trading, risk management or quantitative analysis within either a sell-side or buy-side institution and be comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders. The focus of the role will be to understand customer needs through both direct contact and analysis of their trade data, develop customer pitches, run PoCs and onboard new customers. Additionally, work may involve writing custom metrics/reports using our scripting language.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in financial markets from a trading, risk management or quant perspective
• Hands-on skills in at least one programming/scripting language ( C#, Python, SQL)
• Strong drive and ambition to win new business and support company revenue growth
• Solid interpersonal skills and comfortable working closely with customers and other internal stakeholders on a collaborative basis
• Excellent in written and oral communication, with the ability to summarise information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Able to prioritise, assign and manage competing customer needs
• A creative thinker, who strives to develop customer opportunities with a key focus on automation and efficiency where possible
