What is the opportunity?

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Services associate for the fast-paced Capital Markets, QTS, Fixed Income Production Application Support team.

This role involves delivering Production Application Support services to the Fixed Income Business, utilizing ITIL service management principles such as Event, Incident, Problem, and Change management. The candidate will serve as the primary escalation point for issues affecting the production environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong capital markets experience and act as a liaison with CM Business, Development, and Infrastructure teams.

What will you do?

• Support multiple production support teams across Canada, the U.K, and the U.S., providing 24x7 support for Fixed Income Clients and applications related to Commodities & Futures, Trading, Pricing, and Risk management systems.
• Combine technical expertise with business knowledge, developing a deep understanding of applications, architecture, and data flows.
• Manage Major Incidents effectively, ensuring swift resolution.
• Act as an escalation point for operational teams, participating in incident response, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Own daily operational support, driving stability, reliability, and service excellence.
• Use data and metrics to improve production stability, collaborating with development teams and vendors.
• Log support incidents accurately, conduct review meetings, and track action items to completion.
• Implement tools and process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Provide leadership and expertise to team members.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

• Extensive IT experience with strong knowledge of Capital Markets, including Fixed Income products (FX, Cash, Derivatives, Structured Products, Commodities, Futures).
• Leadership experience in supporting Capital Markets trading and related functions.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income trading activities, market data feeds, and applications like ION, Murex, Bloomberg TOMS, Openlink, XTP is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor to interact with challenging trading clients.
• Ability to manage priorities and coordinate with IT and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Proficiency in Linux, SQL, and scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Java, Python).
• Experience with databases, Linux, Windows, and basic infrastructure.
• Knowledge of enterprise scheduler platforms and monitoring tools (e.g., Control-M, Geneos, Tableau, ServiceNow).
• Understanding of infrastructure components (servers, storage, network, middleware).
• Experience implementing ITIL Service Management practices.
• Data analysis skills using ServiceNow, PowerPoint, and MS Excel.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Murex.
• Experience with DevOps and cloud technologies (AWS, GridGain).
• Experience supporting MQ, SOLACE, and RV/RMDS.
