Job description

Our client is a market leader in the field of professional liability, with a particularly strong presence in construction-related disputes. Their London team has a proven track record in defending construction professionals and advising insurers across the industry sectors. The team is known for its collaborative working environment and its ability to deliver fast, effective solutions to complex professional indemnity claims.

The team advises and defends a wide range of construction professionals, including D&B contractors, engineers, architects, project managers, surveyors, and other consultants. This includes claims involving design and build disputes, allegations of negligence, defects, and financial claims, as well as all aspects of construction-related insurance.

The Role:

Our client is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its well-regarded London team. The successful candidate will work on a range of contentious construction matters and construction professional indemnity claims.

The role includes:

  • Advising insurers and insureds on coverage and liability issues
  • Running a diverse caseload of construction PI claims
  • Working collaboratively with experienced team members on complex disputes
  • Involvement in risk management and claims prevention advice

Key requirements:

  • 2–5 years’ PQE, ideally gained within a leading construction PI or insurance practice (PQE is a guide; all candidates with relevant experience will be considered)
  • Experience in professional indemnity and construction claims
