Job summary

Nashrock Insurance Recruitment supports a London-based MGA recruiting a Professional & Financial Risks Underwriter to join a dynamic, collaborative team. The role offers exposure to professional liability lines including PI, D&O, Cyber, E&O and Media Liability, with a clear progression path for an ambitious underwriter.

You will underwrite new and renewal business, build broker relationships, assess risk and pricing, and work with senior underwriters on complex risks in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ insurance experience within an underwriting environment.
• Experience within the London Insurance market
• Exposure to Professional & Financial Lines (PI, D&O, Cyber, etc.)
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business within agreed authority levels
• Assess risk exposure and determine appropriate pricing and terms
• Build and maintain strong broker relationships
• Support the growth and profitability of the portfolio
