Job summary

Sidney Sussex College in Cambridge seeks a full-time Housekeeping Assistant to join the Housekeeping Department. The post reports to the Head of Housekeeping Services and ensures the highest standard of cleaning across College buildings and outlaying hostels.

The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and capable of working unsupervised. Experience in educational or hotel cleaning is useful, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience of professional cleaning in an educational or hotel establishment would be useful, but training will be provided.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Capacity to travel daily to outlaying hostels would be welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest possible standard of cleaning across College buildings and outlaying hostels.
• Report to the Head of Housekeeping Services.
• Work 7.30am - 3.30pm, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days in 7 with weekend work.
