Led by Anne Reed, a former NHS nurse, solicitor and compassionate advocate, we are committed to making a positive impact on people’s lives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for offering empathetic and articulate support to our existing clients, dealing with new work enquiries, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) and Court of Protection documents and other associated paperwork as well as updating procedures in accordance with the Powers of Attorney Act 2023.

An important part of this role is to assist with the development and marketing of the firm’s services and to develop strategic alliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and provide clear, compassionate guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records using our case management system.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with colleagues to deliver a smooth and consistent client experience.
  • Assist with account management and client billing processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Actively contribute to the growth and development of the firm, building the client base and marketing the firm’s services.
  • Develop relationships with third party referrers.
  • Seek opportunities to improve expertise and develop new skills

Requirements:

  • Legal experience (Ideally 3+ years), ideally in private client, elder law, or mental capacity law.
  • Strong understanding of LPAs and Court of Protection procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Personable, compassionate, and client-focused demeanour.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable clients, particularly in the context of health and social care.
  • Strong understanding of Community Care law and its practical application.
  • Familiarity with billing procedures and managing client accounts.
  • Ability to work sensitively with clients and families during emotionally challenging situations.
  • Experience working in a small legal team or advocacy-focused environment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a supportive and professional team.
  • Make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • Flexible, part-time schedule (3 days per week on-site).
