They are seeking an experienced Production/Workshop Manager to oversee a diverse range of machining talent on the shop floor.
The company operate by producing precision products for numerous industries throughout the UK and around the world, including proto-typing and product design.
Duties:-
Oversee a team of up 20 people across various disciplines
Undertake training and development of staff members
Manage the engineering and tooling functions
Oversee product quality
Keep shop floor presentable and ensure H&S processes being followed
Monitor maintenance and equipment
Occasional customer liaison when required
Promote Continuous Improvement
Responsible for Quality Performance
Participate in Sales, Quality, Engineering and Production Meetings
You will ideally be a team player, comfortable working alongside senior management and workforce alike.
You will oversee target setting and the meeting of these, by motivating a varied workforce.
Benefits:-
IRO £40,000-£50,000p/a negotiable depending on experience
Hours of work 9.00-5.00 Mon-Thurs and Fri 9.00-12.00 although the job will require flexibility
