Job Description:

What is the job?
Ensure uninterrupted and on-time supply of manufactured items by scheduling production plans, managing MRP settings, and handling obsolescence/NPI releases to minimize gaps in product availability.

Working Hours: 7:30am to 6pm on a rota basis to support onsite Production Flow.

Where will you work?

Our purpose-built facility is 12 miles from Cambridge, in Ely, accessible by train and bus from London.

Requirements:

Essential skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Willing to become a super user of ERP systems (AX 2012 or D365)
• Collaborative with production and logistics teams
• Flexible working hours for onsite support

Preferred qualifications and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production plans to meet delivery commitments
• Participate in daily planning meetings and respond to throughput issues
• Oversee release of production work in absence of team leaders
• Monitor capacity utilization and initiate corrective actions
• Manage ERP settings related to production planning
• Respond to sales requests for lead time and delivery updates
• Contribute to process improvements and lean initiatives
• Support NPI releases, obsolescence management, and transition to D365
