Job summary

Danish Crown UK is seeking a Production Trainer to develop and maintain frontline capability, ensuring production lines operate safely, consistently, and to defined standards. You will work with Area Supervisors and Line Leaders to train, assess, and onboard both permanent staff and agency workers, embedding new ways of working across the site.

You will coach on-the-job, drive standardised work, maintain training records, and support root-cause analysis for performance issues.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience delivering training or coaching in an operational setting.
• Strong understanding of shop floor operations and performance drivers.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to influence and support frontline teams.
• Clear understanding of quality, food safety, and operational standards.
• Ability to identify and close capability gaps.
• High attention to detail and organisational discipline.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver training for new and existing employees.
• Ensure all employees are trained and assessed against defined standards and standard work.
• Support Line Leaders in developing team capability and maintaining skill levels.
• Identify skill gaps and work with Area Supervisors to develop training plans.
• Support the consistent application of standards from clear high-quality SOPs across lines and shifts.
• Challenge poor practices and reinforce correct ways of working.
• Deliver structured inductions for all new starters (permanent and agency).
• Maintain training records and ensure signoffs and competency assessments are auditable.
• Support audits, visits, and inspections as required.
