CPS Group UK is seeking an experienced Production Technology Project Manager with a background in supporting IT Production Technology for Film, Media, and Television Content Production. The role involves overseeing various projects within a high-performing global team, supporting top-tier productions for a major entertainment brand.

*Note: Due to collaboration with US-based teams, working hours are 1pm – 9pm.*

Role Responsibilities

• Serve as the project manager and primary contact with UK-based production teams.
• Manage production requests, provide updates, assess priorities, track schedules, gather technical requirements, and manage project plans.
• Lead calls during pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
• Coordinate with technology engineers to communicate needs, issues, and breakfixes.
• Collaborate with other project managers and resources to assign tasks to US-based Studio Technology engineers.
• Manage multiple shows and technology initiatives throughout their lifecycle.
• Report project status, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and issues, to stakeholders.
• Prioritize and escalate operational tasks as needed.
• Utilize PowerBI for executive reporting.
• Identify inefficiencies and risks through analytical thinking.
• Implement projects to improve operations and streamline processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience managing IT/Production Technology Projects in a Film Studio or Content Production environment.
• Deep knowledge of Production Technology.
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools like MS Power BI.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• At least 5 years in Technical Project Management using waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Over 3 years managing diverse projects with various technologies and complexities.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to rapid changes.
• Excellent facilitation and teamwork skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira.
