Role Overview

• Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
• Overtime: During peak times, overtime is available for those seeking extra hours. Overtime pay is compensated at one and a half times the regular rate.
• Location: This position is located at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Coldwell Radio Station, B4348, Hereford HR2 9NE

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee the setup and operation of SMT equipment, including our AOI machines.
• Develop and optimise SMT processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SMT equipment and processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Train and mentor production staff on SMT processes and AOI equipment.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for SMT processes and AOI equipment.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of SMT materials and components.
• Support quality assurance in the inspection and testing of SMT assemblies.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
