Job summary

Orion Group is recruiting a Production Technologist based in Aberdeen for a 6 month PAYE contract with a North Sea operator. The role encompasses development of production technology for growth projects, with emphasis on well integrity, gravel packs, sand control, and IPSM modelling.

The ideal candidate will have strong Petex IPM Suite capabilities, experience in well completion design, testing, and cross-functional collaboration across asset teams to deliver reliable subsurface solutions in

Qualifications

Experience in operational well integrity and well intervention functional design.
Front end well completion design incl. sand control and gravel packing.
Strong Petex IPM Suite skills.

Responsibilities

Manage IPSM model in coordination with asset reservoir teams.
Lead design, testing, verification and delivery of gravel packs with Well Engineering.
Plan and execute well testing programmes; write and optimise test instructions with vendors and subsurface teams.
Provide sand failure prediction analysis and sand control support to front-end projects.
Deliver conceptual well designs for exploration opportunities; support non-operated assets.
Provide integrated subsurface support focusing on SURF interface (trees, controls, metering, flow assurance).
Provide well integrity analyst activities and production technology discipline support.
