Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Production Technician/Mechanical Assembly Technician for a permanent, bench-based role in Tring, Hertfordshire. You will join a close-knit team of seven, carrying out high-precision, low-volume assembly and test work, reading engineering drawings and using hand tools and measuring equipment.

The role offers 39 hours per week, with flexible start/end times and optional overtime, plus alternate Fridays off.

Qualifications

• Background in production / assembly / manufacturing (mechanical bias ideal).
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings and using hand tools / measuring equipment.
• Basic electrical knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Bench-based, high-precision assembly and test.
• Reading engineering drawings and using hand tools / measuring equipment.
• Crimping, soldering and mechanical assembly as part of the build.
• 39 hours: typically 7am-4:30pm Mon-Fri, with 7am-12pm alternate Fridays.
• Two-stage interview process: Teams followed by onsite tour and practical test.

£28,000 - £33,000 + Overtime at time and a half + Flexible Hours + Alternate Fridays off + Job Security + Long-Term Stability
