Production Technician

Armstrong World Industries, with over 90 years of experience in Pensacola, has immediate openings for Production Technician positions. This facility manufactures and distributes acoustical ceilings for commercial and residential installations in the United States and overseas.

  1. Safe and effective setup and operation of manufacturing equipment.
  2. Know how and where to find process specifications and procedures and adhere to them.
  3. Ensure accuracy in all reporting, measure product quality, operate mobile equipment, inspect products, package products, and reclaim scrap material.
  4. Maintain a skill level and knowledge of equipment operation and product quality to assist during start-ups and changeovers.
  5. Maintain high standards of housekeeping in work areas.
  6. Recognize product quality issues and assist in diagnosing problems.
  7. Follow all safety rules and ensure all team members do the same.
  8. Perform miscellaneous duties as required or requested.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Pre-screen interview and skills evaluation.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
