Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Production Technician to join its precision engineering team in the UK. You will build, test and repair precision-engineered products to the highest standards, following drawings, specs and work instructions.

You’ll work with Team Leaders and colleagues across Operations, maintaining quality, safety and on-time delivery. The role welcomes junior or senior candidates with hands-on experience and a proactive attitude toward learning and development.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
• HND or equivalent in Engineering is required.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Production Technician

You will play a key role in building, testing, and repairing precision-engineered products to the highest standards. This company has built a strong reputation both in the UK and internationally, designing and manufacturing cutting-edge automation technology that supports a wide range of high-tech industries.

You’ll work from engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions, ensuring every product meets the required quality standards. They offer flexible working hours, with core hours from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, giving employees flexibility in their workday. Most engineers typically work 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

We’re looking for someone with experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing or repair, who is confident using hand tools, test equipment and measurement devices and can understand technical drawings and documentation.

It’s an exciting time to join them, with a major renovation of the manufacturing shop floor due to begin in November. This investment will create a modern, improved working environment and support the continued growth of our manufacturing operation.

You’ll work closely with Team Leaders and colleagues across Operations, responding to changing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and delivery.
