Job summary

Genuit Group's ADEY unit in Stonehouse is seeking a Production Technician to operate and optimise the automated chemical mixing, filling, labelling and packing line. You will work safely to meet production targets while upholding quality and housekeeping standards.

Collaborating with shift supervisors, maintenance engineers and quality teams, you will troubleshoot, adjust equipment and maintain traceability of materials, supporting flexible duties across production areas as demand requires.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production or process environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to follow procedures, safety standards and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate automated chemical mixing, filling, bottling, labelling and packing equipment.
• Follow manufacturing instructions, batch sheets, SOPs and production schedules accurately.
• Carry out chemical blending and batch preparation activities according to approved formulations.
• Set up, operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimum performance.
• Conduct routine line start-up, shut-down, cleaning and changeover activities.
• Verify raw materials before use and ensure correct material traceability.
• Monitor machine performance and identify process deviations, escalating issues promptly.
• Perform basic equipment adjustments to maintain production performance and minimise downtime.
• Accurately record production data, batch information, downtime and quality checks.
• Achieve production output targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Assist with loading, unloading and replenishment of production lines as required.

The role focuses on ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.You will operate, monitor, troubleshoot and optimise automated process equipment involved in the manufacture of chemical products for the water treatment industry.
