Job description

Job Role: Production Technician

Location: Telford

Shift: Rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

Pay Rate: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

The Company:
A well-established food manufacturing company who recently expanded and are looking for Production Technicians to support with the expansion.

The Production Technician Candidate:
Must have experience working with and fixing different types of automated machinery. Previous experience working with food machinery preferred but not essential. Must be enthusiastic, willing to learn new techniques & technologies, and drive for improvements and lean manufacturing. Take ownership of the production line to make sure it's running smoothly and efficiently.

The Production Technician Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain, fix, and operate automated and packaging processing machinery.
  2. Run different lines to operating standards, and perform line changeovers and start-ups for different orders and customers.
  3. Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety Standards.
