Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe and reliable condition.
2. Carry out mechanical, electrical, and setting work within the factory, including tasks required in any unit, within the scope of competence.
3. Assist in training other Production Technicians and attend training courses to improve skills.
4. Adhere to safe working practices and comply with department rules and regulations.
5. Liaise with Management regarding any occurrences or potential issues that could cause a breakdown.
6. Set equipment to required standards to achieve optimal conditions and meet quality standards.
7. Minimize wastage of materials.
8. Follow all procedures in accordance with company standards and ISO 9001 compliance.
9. Change over equipment for various production runs.
10. Accurately complete and maintain all statistic and record sheets.
11. Be aware of high reject production, wastage, and process loss.
12. Maintain compliance with company rules, uphold high standards of housekeeping, and keep the workplace clean and tidy.
13. Ensure manufacturing processes conform to technical and quality specifications in line with ISO 9001 standards.
14. Support lean manufacturing initiatives in collaboration with the PPI continuous improvement team.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in processing, with relevant experience in a similar role.
