Production Technician
Location: Melksham, Wiltshire
Salary: 24,000 - 27,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Are you an experienced Production Technician with a background in electronics or assembly? We're currently partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Melksham, who are looking to expand their production team with skilled technicians.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with a strong order book heading in 2025, a great team environment, and a reputation for high-quality, specialist electronic products.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assembling and manufacturing electronic products to specification
  • Working with soldering irons, handheld crimp tools, and heat-shrink materials
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Following build procedures and adhering to health & safety standards
  • Collaborating with the test team on inspections and in-process testing
  • Highlighting and reporting any build issues to the Production Supervisor

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or production assembly
  • Confident with hand tools, soldering, and crimping
  • Able to follow technical instructions and engineering drawings
  • A qualification in Electronics or Engineering is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-focused attitude
