The Vacancy

We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Production Technician!

In this role, you will play a key part in the Production Assembly team, responsible for manufacturing high voltage and high current test equipment used across the UK and globally. You will be testing, fault-finding down to component level, repairing, and calibrating a variety of electronic products—ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. You’ll also contribute to improvement initiatives in our drive toward a lean manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Test and calibrate electronic field and bench type equipment for Dover products to the highest standards.

Fault find and repair at printed circuit board level, including replacing surface mount components.

Follow test specifications and safe systems of work, adhering to COSHH and risk assessments.

Participate in continuous improvement activities and represent Manufacturing in New Product Development teams.

Work collaboratively to support a high-performing, efficient production environment.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Qualification in an electronic discipline or equivalent, with relevant experience.

Competent in component-level fault finding and repair.

Ability to read and understand manuals, schematics, circuit diagrams, and engineering/mechanical drawings.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage time and priorities effectively.
