Job summary

Une entreprise de fabrication de haute précision recherche un Technicien de Production pour rejoindre une équipe soudée à Oxford. Vous serez impliqué dans l'opération et la maintenance de chambres spécialisées pour tester des dispositifs hautes performances, avec un accent sur la sécurité et l'amélioration continue. Ce rôle vous permettra de relever des défis techniques tout en travaillant selon des procédures définies.

Qualifications

• Capacité à lire et interpréter des dessins techniques.
• Compétences en assemblage mécanique requises.
• Familiarité avec les procédures de santé et de sécurité dans un environnement de production.

Responsibilities

• Assemblage et désassemblage de chambres d'essai, identification selon des dessins techniques.
• Configuration et exploitation de mécanismes de tir de manière sûre et précise.
• Collecte et analyse de données d'essai et mise à jour des systèmes internes.

Skills

Mechanical Assembly Skills

Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings

Knowledge of oscilloscopes

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Production Technician to join a close-knit and supportive team in Oxford. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of high-precision manufacturing, where safety, accuracy and continuous improvement are key.

You’ll be involved in the operation and maintenance of specialised chambers used for testing high-performance devices, working closely with engineering, quality and production teams. What you’ll be doing:

• Assembling and disassembling test chambers, identifying components to technical drawings
• Setting up and operating firing mechanisms safely and accurately
• Loading, arming, and firing high-performance components
• Collecting and analysing test data and updating internal systems (SAP)
• Pressure testing chambers and using ovens, freezers, and conditioning chambers safely
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with technical notes, QA instructions, and engineering specifications

What we’re looking for:

• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
• Mechanical Assembly Skills
• Knowledge of oscilloscopes would be desirable but not essential
• Comfortable working under time pressure and managing priorities to hit deadlines
• Familiar with health & safety procedures in a workshop or production environment
