Join our team at Kingspan Century in Ballyclare

Are you a motivated individual looking for a rewarding career in manufacturing? Kingspan Century is looking for Team Leaders to join our Production team in Ballyclare.

What you’ll do:

As a Production Team Leader, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing line and team performance to hit production deadlines.
• Promote team members development in continuous improvement (CI) activities, and recommend further training where necessary.
• Liaise with the Production Manager regularly on issues involving production schedule and schedule changes, drawings, quality and staffing issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Ensure all team members are wearing the correct PPE.
• Monitor waste and scrap levels, and develop methods to reduce it.
• Reject/ Scrap nonconforming product
• Liaise with yard personnel when materials need to be brought to or taken from your production area
• Coordinate all time sheets and KPIs, for the Production Manager.
• Monitor production during the day to ensure it is staying on schedule.
• Undertake general stock take to ensure stock levels and accurate.

You will have:

• Supervisory experience
• Proven leadership qualities and excellent people management skills.
• Experience in dealing with CNC & automated production machinery
• Training in IT (Microsoft Office) is desirable
• Lean Manufacturing (Yellow/Green belt) is preferred.

Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30
Friday 08:00 to 15:30
