Job summary

Intersurgical is seeking a Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of the manufacturing assembly department, ensuring high-quality, defect-free products. You will lead and motivate teams, follow safety procedures and work to strict production schedules in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires experience in manufacturing, team supervision, MS Office proficiency, and strong communication in English. Flexibility for shifts and adherence to PPE and manual handling guidelines are essential.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a Team Leader who will be responsible for supporting and assisting the other Team Leaders and Production Supervisors in the day to day running of the manufacturing assembly department with the aim of producing high quality defect free product, using the most cost effective and efficient methods as required by the Production and Operations Management.

• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience supervising and motivating a team
• Able to use Microsoft Office
• The ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety requirements and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Knowledge and experience of correct manual handling procedures

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

• Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 Certification (or equivalent)
• Experience of using Dynamics system (or similar business management system)
• Counterbalance Forklift licence (although full training with our provider is required)
