Job summary

Griffith Foods Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Team Leader to plan and control Sauces & Dressings / Blending / Batching production activities, directing staff and resources to meet internal and external customer requirements while upholding quality, safety and budget targets.

You will lead daily KPI delivery, drive lean initiatives, ensure compliance with GMP/H&S, and collaborate with warehouse and supply chain teams to optimise stock, waste control and plant performance.

Qualifications

• Good educational background with relevant management qualifications.
• Min 3 years’ experience in food manufacture.
• Min 3 years’ experience in people management within production environment.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Experience of working in a lean manufacturing environment with understanding of relevant techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan staff and materials to achieve production targets as per budget.
• Develop and maintain operational structure within the Sauces & Dressing / Dry Blending / Batching areas.
• Ensure highest standards to achieve consistent production of high-quality product.
• Achieve daily KPI’s and escalate issues to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to control waste and costs.
