Production Team Leader – Early Shift
Location: Leicester, LE3
Salary: £31,500 + Benefits
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a motivated leader with experience managing production teams in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Production Team Leader to take ownership of a key shift, leading a team of 30–35 operators to deliver high performance, efficiency, and quality.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading, motivating, and managing a team to meet daily output, efficiency, and quality targets

Ensuring full compliance with health & safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture

Coordinating shift activities and allocating resources to meet production schedules

Monitoring performance against key metrics (OEE, waste, downtime, quality)

Conducting briefings, shift handovers, and regular team meetings

Keeping accurate records and reports for production and compliance purposes

Coaching, developing, and supporting team members through regular feedback and training

Collaborating with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues

Driving continuous improvement to enhance productivity and reduce waste

What You’ll Need:

Proven experience in a similar Team Leader or Supervisor role

Strong people management and communication skills

Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on quality and results

Comfortable working in a fast-moving production environment

Knowledge of health & safety and performance metrics
