A leader in vehicle manufacturing seeks a Production Team Leader in Kirkbymoorside to lead a team of mechanical technicians. You will ensure quality standards and assemble mechanical products from engineering drawings. Proven assembly experience and leadership in a previous role are essential. Flexi-time is available for this permanent position.

Overview

Are you a Production Team Leader? Are you able to coordinate a small assembly team? Do you have experience with mechanical fitting/assembling? A global leader of special purpose vehicles is looking to expand their shopfloor and take on board a Production Team Leader!

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of mechanical technicians to support and assemble mechanical products, components and systems.
• Ensure quality standards are followed with all products completed.
• Aid the Mechanical Technician supervisor and cover during absences.
• Assemble technically engineered products from engineering drawings/instructions.
• Drive change using continuous improvement techniques such as Kaizen events or similar.

Position details

Permanent position. Mon-Thu 8.30am–4.30pm and Friday 8.30am–4.00pm. Flexi-time available. Location: Kirkbymoorside.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
