The Role

The Cable Harness & Helical Assembly Team Leader will be based in our Wandsworth Facility and report to the Production Manager. The role involves managing a small team of experienced assembly operators to meet daily output demands set by the Planning department. Support resources from the Quality department are available on site.

Job responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high standards of quality and safety are consistently met, including compliance with ISO standards.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations and ensure output targets are efficiently achieved.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot problems on the assembly line and implement solutions and recommendations quickly.
  • Communication Skills: Clearly convey instructions, provide constructive feedback, and ensure alignment with production goals.
