Production Team Leader + £32,205 + Night shift OR day shift 6am-2pm (salary is the same on either shift) + 33 days holiday + Permanent role

Our food manufacturing client based in Bolton is looking for an experienced Production Team Leader to join them on a permanent night shift from 10pm-6am, Monday to Friday.

Production Team Leader - Night Shift Job Purpose:

To lead, manage, and develop a team within either the bakery or packaging department, ensuring that the team operates safely, efficiently, and effectively. Drive a continuous improvement environment to maximise productivity and quality.

  • Health, Safety and Environment: Ensure that the plant and personnel conform to HSE legislation, policies, and standards. Take a proactive approach to reducing accidents, risks, and hazards on site.
  • FSQ: Ensure all products released for processing or sale meet food safety and quality standards. Maintain compliance through effective traceability and documentation control.
  • Cost: Manage all controllable costs effectively, including raw materials, packaging, and waste. Support improvement plans with accurate database management.
  • People: Lead, motivate, train, and develop the team, including agency staff, to deliver results across business pillars.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek CI opportunities, engaging the team to positively impact business outcomes.
  • Standards: Set and maintain company food hygiene standards through adherence to personal hygiene and GMP standards.
  • Performance: Drive plant performance across the line, focusing on efficiency and waste management.
