Production Team Leader

£41,000 - £45,000 + bonus based on business performance

The Company

Our client is a global automotive manufacturing organisation who have been operating in the UK for over 30 years, establishing themselves with a series of top-tier clients. With over 25 global sites and over 1000 employees in the UK alone, they are now generating a multi-billion turnover.

Over the last 10 years this organisation has seen dramatic growth in the UK, generating £300 million in revenue and growing their team by 400%. As such, they have created a dynamic environment focused on creating opportunities for personal growth.

As a result, they are currently recruiting a Production Team Leader with immediate effect.

The Role

The role of Production Team Leader will involve managing the capacity and performance of a team of up to 55 people. This role will work closely with the senior leadership team to understand team capacity, ensuring that the business is achieving against both internal and customer targets. This role also offers the opportunity to progress within people leadership, both cross-functionally and internationally. The Production Team Leader will:

• Have full ownership of capacity and SQDCP KPIs, ensuring the team are working to internal and customer expectations
• Managing the team budget and contributing to the introduction of process and machinery improvements
• People management for a team of up to 55 people, including recruitment, training, and succession planning
• Ensuring the team is compliant to H&S policies, and working stringently to achieve quality standards
• Utilising your knowledge alongside company data to address any issues on the line and implement proactive solutions

The Candidate

• Demonstratable experience managing teams of up to 50 people in a manufacturing environment
• A background of operating in a fast-paced industry and ability to motivate teams to achieve targets for on time delivery
• Experience and understanding of SAP software
