Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group in Heanor is seeking a Production Team Leader (trainee) to oversee the production area. You will upholster bespoke mouldings, read engineering drawings, operate sewing machines and cut/mark materials to create fire seals for major industries.

Candidates with strong communication and leadership skills, plus ability to follow SOPs, will be considered. Commutable from Heanor and surrounding areas. Initial hours and pay described, with progression to Team Leader scale.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing environment.
• Able to read engineering drawings and follow SOPs.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Uphold bespoke mouldings, reading engineering drawings, operating sewing machines, cutting and marking out to create material fire seals.
