  • Standard Hours: Flexible start / 40 hours per week
  • Location: Bembridge - Isle of Wight

Are you ready to play a key role in supporting the production of a renowned aircraft manufacturer? We are looking for someone who can support aircraft production activities by coordinating resources, documentation, and materials to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations. Directly reporting to the Production manager to support the effective delivery of aerospace production activities in line with company objectives and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • FAI Support
  • Assist in raising/closing/amending and distribution of work orders
  • Expediting parts/ work orders etc through the shopfloor
  • Understand shop floor processes and to familiarise yourself with tooling and machines used.
  • Pull shortage reports.
  • Kit checking
  • Check tool control adherence
  • To assist with the “Aircraft Build File”
  • To maintain compliance to policies and procedures within the production areas.
  • Monitor adherence to COSHH
  • To help implement Lean manufacturing
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow processes.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Familiarity with ERP systems / production planning tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to remain flexible to meet the wider demands of an expanding business.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and hardworking.
