We're looking for a Production Support Engineering Manager to lead our team in providing robust technical support to Operations and Supply Chain within our Military Original Equipment operations. Acting as a key interface across multiple functions, you'll deliver practical engineering leadership while driving improvements in yield, cost, and quality. This role includes direct line management responsibilities and a strong focus on team development, governance, and continuous improvement.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Manage the Post Certification Engineering (PCE) team and maintain a development-focused, high-performance culture.
• Drive process improvement through change management governance and metrics.
• Monitor First Pass Yield results and assist operators with test rig and assembly queries.
• Lead scrap and cost reduction initiatives, and manage concessions and repair scheme development.
• Deliver training to technicians and production teams on fault diagnosis and resolution.
• Act as signatory for Modifications, Repair Schemes, and Concessions.
• Oversee budget management for the PCE team and implement a roadmap for future improvements.

Job Requirements

Essential skills:

• Strong knowledge of hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and products.
• Proven experience of Configuration Management principles.
• Ability to represent the company in technical customer reviews.

Desirable skills:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Working knowledge of Teamcenter, Catia v5 or NX.
• Solid statistical and analytical skills.
• Experience in managing engineering teams and mentoring individuals.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of business priorities and resource planning.
