Job DescriptionSummary:

In this role, your primary focus will be providing high quality user support to the global team, promptly resolving any system issues that impact front office trading flows. Collaborating with internal and external teams on a daily basis, your workload will be varied, with tasks including: support trading platforms on different OS environments - Windows & Linux; provide maintenance and support of static databases, and develop tools to continuously improve ability to monitor the trading environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• 2+ years of Bash, Command Dos, Powershell or Python scripting experience is essential
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and business analytics capabilities
• High level of Linux OS experience is a hard requirement
• Team player essential; keen focus on owning issues and commitment to their resolution
• Availability to cover evening/weekend support (remote access)
• Expert relational database skills (in order of preference: SQL Server, Postgres) are essential

Desirable:

• Experience facing off to the front office (traders and senior managers)
• Knowledge of Equities/Futures/Commodities/FX asset classes
