Job description
PRODUCTION SUPPORT ENGINEER

THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Support Engineer to oversee the day-to-day technical support of multiple studios in the UK. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing technical support to a user base of employees and production, all utilizing the client studio technology and applications.


Please Note: This is NOT a remote position. The role is on-siteand required to travel to different studio locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Focus on ensuring a high level of support is maintained for users
  • Communicate with production and departmental teams within the studio about their IT needs, and answerquestions
  • Be a subject matter expert on all IT responsibilities and constantly seek to be current and improve that knowledge through learning
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Experience working in a technical troubleshooting and/or support engineer role in a production setting
  • Strong working knowledge of MAC, Windows and Linux support
  • Ability to handle multiple issues, prioritizing and effective management of your time
  • Understanding for virtual desktop environment and remote desktop technology
  • Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience working onsite for film production or animation/VFX
  • Experience with helpdesk automation tools, remote management applications
  • Extensive analytic, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and a desire to learn
  • Ability to communicate highly technical information to a variety of people, in both verbal and written form
