The company is a UK leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and service of fume cupboards and safety cabinets, with a strong reputation across the UK. They are seeking an ambitious individual to oversee their busy production activities.

Responsibilities include overseeing the workshop, processing production orders through to dispatch, planning, scheduling, and allocating work to assembly and production staff.

THE ROLE:

1. Overseeing all production activities on the shopfloor
2. Planning, scheduling, and allocating work to direct reports
3. Assisting with dispatching
4. Providing industry and product training

THE PERSON:

1. Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role
2. Experience working with electro-mechanical assembled products
3. CRM/MRP/SAGE experience is advantageous
4. Located near Weston-Super-Mare
