Job summary

Finnebrogue in Northern Ireland is seeking a motivated Supervisor to join the fast-paced production team at the DBP Sauagesite. You will learn from experienced supervisors and managers, progressing through Levels 1–3 as you develop leadership skills in a supportive environment.

You will supervise daily production, drive safety, quality, and KPI targets, and help maintain brand integrity across lines and processes. Training will be provided to help you fulfil your potential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the allocated production area, ensuring products are manufactured safely, on time, in full, and to the required quality, food safety, and customer specifications.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop production operatives, completing inductions, competency assessments, performance reviews, and identifying training needs to build a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with all SOPs, GMP, food safety, health and safety, hygiene, allergen management, contamination controls, and site security requirements.
• Oversee the operation, set-up, calibration and verification of production equipment and critical control systems, including Vemag, Autoloader, Olympus, X-ray, Metal Detection, Flow Wrap, Vacpac, and checkweighers.
• Monitor product quality and traceability through label verification, weight and temperature checks, gas checks, production records, and CCPs, taking corrective action and escalating issues.
• Manage non-conforming products, rework, product holds/quarantine, species segregation, stock control, WIP, date coding, and packaging materials to maintain brand integrity and minimise waste.
• Ensure production documentation and KPI reporting are completed accurately and in real time, monitoring line performance and driving continuous improvement to achieve operational targets.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards, ensuring production lines are clean and ready for operation, including washdowns and approved packaging/labelling materials.
• Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager, Quality team, and other departments to deliver business objectives and undertake other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
