Production Supervisor - Days

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a food manufacturing business in the East Riding of Yorkshire which are looking to recruit Production Supervisors. The ideal candidate has experience leading a team and working in a manufacturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Manage and coordinate production line activities to ensure efficient workflow, meet daily targets, and maintain product quality and safety standards.
2. Monitor processes to comply with HACCP, BRC, and company quality procedures, conducting regular checks and collaborating with QA teams to resolve any issues.
3. Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high performance, good teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
4. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, waste, downtime, and labour efficiency, and report deviations to management with suggested improvements.
5. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and waste reduction, actively participating in lean manufacturing and efficiency projects.

2. Days - £16.60 - £17.35 p/h
3. Pension and OT.
