Production Supervisor - Aseptic Services

In line with our exciting growth within Aseptic Services, we have recently built a state-of-the-art dedicated aseptic manufacturing facility. We are currently looking for a motivated
Production Supervisor to join our dynamic Aseptic Services team, where we manufacture life-saving cancer drugs.
As a Production Supervisor Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading a team of Laboratory Technicians and Compounding Technicians.
- Helping in all aspects of daily operations including cleaning, environment monitoring, assembly of raw materials.
- Checking the accuracy of technical aspects of the assembly and compounding (making) process after satisfactory completion of the department training program.
- Ensuring that Best Practice is followed and to ensuring our systems are up to standard.
- Following unplanned incidents and out of specification procedures.
- Regularly reviewing and updating working practices and update relevant policies/SOPs (Standard operating procedures) where needed.
- Following the Change Request system to plan and make quality improvements.
- Allocating daily workloads amongst team members keeping departmental targets and customer demand in mind.
- Effectively managing workload allocation and staff to ensure the highest quality and maximum productivity.
- Managing staff rotas.
- Liaising with the Production Manager for Aseptic Services to ensure all staff are trained to a high standard.
People Management
- Build and manage a high-performing, collaborative team that works in line with the Group’s values at all times.
- Ensure the appropriate level of resource and expertise is in place and that this is structured in the most effective way to deliver the strategy.
- Ensure that the team have clear objectives in place and that they understand how these relate to the KPIs and the divisional and Group level strategy.
- Ensure all team members have development plans in place and regularly reviewed.
- Provide regular feedback to direct reports. Proactively address underperformance.
- Ensure effective communication of key messages to the team from across the Group.
- Identify top talent and ensure there is a plan in place to retain them, keep them engaged and maximize their potential.
- Recognise and celebrate success on a team and individual level.
What We Are Looking For
- An individual who is passionate about helping others.
- At least 3 years post-qualification relevant GMP experience
- Previous experience in a licensed facility or under a section 10 exemption
- Someone who values teamwork, supportiveness, and has a strong commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work towards KPIs and an interest in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
