Job Title: Production Supervisor

Our client, a leading manufacturer of bespoke stairs in the UK, is looking for a full-time, permanent Production Supervisor to manage and lead a team of fabricators, welders, and apprentices at the factory in Cornwall.

This role requires a strong technical background in welding and fabrication, as well as the ability to provide guidance and ensure the safety and efficiency of production processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate the team by providing clear direction and goals.
• Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and tasks.
• Serve as a role model and mentor, providing training and supervision to apprentices.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and recommend improvements.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong hands-on welding/fabrication experience, including MIG/TIG welding.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• Experience working to EN1090 standards.

Pay and Hours

Between £30,000 and £40,000, depending on experience. Overtime is available at enhanced rates.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.
